- Financial Planning Tools: From time to time, we may provide financial planning tools on the Site, which you can use to help make financial decisions from the comfort of your home. When you use these financial planning tools, we will not capture any of your personal information for our use; if we do so, we will let you know.
- Information You Relay: We may also collect personal information you choose to provide to us via email, our phone system, or any other communications you make. Please remember that when you send electronic mail over the Digital, that email is not necessarily secure against interception. When selecting "Contact Us by Email," you should only send information that is of a non-sensitive and non-confidential nature. If the information you wish to convey to us is of a very sensitive nature (such as your bank account number, Social Security number, etc.), you should convey it to us through Online Banking by selecting "Account Services," then "Messages" to send a secure email.
- Location Services: Verify your identity and/or location (or the identity or location of your authorized representative) for security, fraud prevention and other risk control purposes.
Please also note that we will never ask you to confirm your account number, password, PIN, or other personal information via email. We may call you directly with questions to update or verify account information or to clarify information if you are applying for a loan. In these cases, our employees will introduce themselves by name and give you a specific reason for the request.
2. Information Collected Automatically:
- We may use “cookies” (small elements of data that are stored directly on the computer you are using) on some pages of our Site for the purpose of customizing your experience on the Site and serving you better when you return to our Site. Please note, however, that if you withdraw consent to our collection of location information, you may no longer be able to use some features of the mobile application.
The Site does not currently respond to browser based “Do Not Track” signals.
Piedmont Federal Bank is in the United States. Our Services and the Site are not targeted at individuals outside the United States. If you are visiting the Services from outside the United States and provide us with personal information, please note that your information will be accessed, transferred, stored, and processed by Piedmont Federal Bank in the United States where the data protection laws may differ from those in the country where you are located. We subscribe to the practices under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

We do not share your personal information with third parties in this manner and have not done so in the last 12 months.
